Pull Up a Pew & Ponder

Moderator of the General Assesmbly of the Church Of Scotland

Sometimes all light needs to spill into the darkness is for someone to open the door.
As the year turns, open the door to your heart , your mind, your spirit and welcome the insight it brings.
As the year turns, turn yourself towards the light and see that justice and love forgiveness and peace are possible.
As the year turns, turn yourself into the light and shine.

Mission Plan Review

The Panel’s decision is to reject the request for review and that means the Presbytery’s decision (to close Killearnan Parish Church) is upheld.

The path ahead is unclear and we are still hopeful this is not the end our Killearnan Church, keep faith that this is all in Gods plan and time.

In the meantime, we will continue as an active congregation of the church, and enjoy the fellowship of all of our Killearnan church family.

For the full email correspondence please see the legal info page.

Welcome all

Welcome to Killearnan Parish Church website. We are a church of Scotland congregation serving the Black Isle. Please use this website to find out more about our lovely family and get in touch if you need to.

Whether your visiting or looking for a church to join, we would love to see you at our Sunday services or other events which you can find on our calendar.

We currently have an Interim Moderator Mrs. Cath Chambers overseeing the Church.

Please join us on a Sunday morning at 10.15am at Killearnan Church for friendship and fellowship with either our guest preachers or our interim moderator.

We serve tea, coffee and cake's in our Church Hall after the service so come over and enjoy a blether.

We have a range of services throughout the year and if your not able to attend the church we record the services so you can listen to it in the comfort of your own home. Please speak to your elder if you would like a recording.
